Gazzetta dello Sport report that Piero Ausilio has secured Inter an advantage in the race for Patrik Schick. Inter’s sporting director insists that they must sign Schick immediately. Inter will pay the Czech forwards 25 million release clause and leave him on loan at the Marassi for a further season to continue his development.
Inter are not the only club that are monitoring the 21 year old’s situation and rivals Juventus are one of the other clubs in the running for his signature. The Bianconeri’s chief executive Giuseppe Marotta invited Sampdoria’s president Massimo Ferrero to Juventus’ Champions League semi final second leg with Monaco on Tuesday night to discuss Schick, something that has caused concern for Inter. Fellow Serie A sides Roma and Napoli are both also interested in acquiring Schick, who has been a revelation for La Samp off the bench with 11 goals this season.

Maybe Juve will sign Schick in the end, but that doesn’t change that the Gazzetta article said Inter are ahead in the race, but worried about Juve wanting him. But it’s all speculation anyways.
