Inter will continue on their path to improve the management and backroom staff. Gazzetta dello Sport detail that Javier Zanetti, who is on a lifelong deal will remain as will sporting director Piero Ausilio who recently renewed through to 2020 and Giovanni Gardini, Inter’s chief football administrator.

After the recent appointment of Walter Sabatini as Suning’s technical coordinator, there are a number of other names the Nerazzurri have in mind to further strengthen. Dario Baccin, currently of Palermo is being courted and will be appointed as Inter’s chief scout. Corrardo Verdelli will be brought in and work alongside Roberto Samaden and Daniele Bernazzani. Morever, Gabriele Oriali will return and will be Inter’s team manager. Oriali, who currently carries out that role for the Italian national team will become an important reference point for the Inter team going forward.

The next manager will also be part of their improvements after Stefano Pioli’s shock early sacking which came on Tuesday night.
