An excerpt of Daniele De Rossi’s long interview with Gazzetta dello Sport has been released, with the full interview expected to be released in the coming days. The Roma veteran’s future remains up in the air with his contract expiring in a matter of weeks. Inter are one club who have taken note and are monitoring the situation of the 33 year old defensive midfielder, who has spent his entire career in Giallorossi.
De Rossi started out saying, “I don’t know at the moment [if I will stay], but it’s not so important. In other seasons it was more difficult to link with this shirt, my love story is such beautiful thing that you can’t summarise it. I’m not thinking about strange things, I’m only focusing very much on it, talking at home or to myself.”
The 2006 World Cup winner concluded, “This is a love story that however won’t finish. My words aren’t a goodbye, I want to make that clear”

what after 6 years finally someone is getting more salary than you (piguain), and u want to be the highest paid again? I see
The demise of Serie A. Piguain being the best paid player and some say the league is on the rise. It will be fun to see him bottle up against Real. Hopefully the chinese won’t be breaking the bank for De Rossi’s salary. Him leaving Roma just when he would become the captain would be ridicolous anyways.
Just join us! We need a leader like you on the pitch and especially in the locker room to tell this shit heads to start working for their salaries!
he doesn’t even work for his salary he gets so much money more than anyone in serie a during the last 6 years
I know, but he´s aborn leader and we sure as hell need that! We´re getting strong leading persons in management now (Oriali, Saba, the new CEO – CONTE I hope 😉 ) but we still need someone to lead on the field and in the locker room.
