Samir Handanovic spoke to Inter Channel following his side’s 2-1 defeat to Sassuolo earlier today and claimed that the players need to act like men.

“Unfortunately, there are stories that are repeated for the last 7-8 games, we are always there,” the Slovenian shot-stopper explained.

The keeper was then asked what he could say to the Inter fans.

“I understand, I’ve always been in this situation for the last five years, Inter cannot be in this ranking condition, there is patience but to a certain extent. I do not what to say to them because I do not want to take them for fools.

“It’s the hardest time since I’ve been here, It’s hard for us players as well. We have to be men even in these situations.”

Handanovic was then asked about Eder’s goal and whether it really sparked anything.

“This has to be done in the week, but there is no serenity and we need to give it something different, it’s all year long so we can not stick to small things.”
