FCInterNews.it report that Inter are on the verge of signing PSG Argentinian winger Angel Di Maria.
According to the report Inter have been negotiating for a while with the Argentinian winger as he will be part of a double swoop that Suning will make ahead of next season, the other being Real Madrid defender Pepe. Both players are represented by Portuguese super agent Jorge Mendes who’s influence with the Nerazzurri seems to grow as he prepares to bring in two of his players to Milano.
FCInterNews reports further that Javier Zanetti has been instrumental in the negotiations, similarly to the role he played a year ago when Inter snapped up Banega on a free transfer, and has managed to convince Di Maria to accept a move to Inter.

Perisic is better than DI Maria imo, but he seems very distracted lately and not giving evev 50% and his shithead friend Brozo might have already convinced him too move away from Inter. Sad.
If you compare their careers and achievements, Di Maria is miles ahead of Perisic.

no way, di maria much better player. his achievment was far better, their age is same perisic 28, and di maria 29. and the way of play, Perisic can’t play at right side like di maria. di maria also can play at left side of MF, in 4-3-3 like when he at Man Utd. as a winger di maria can cut inside or play wide and deliver better cross than perisic. he also can shoot like robben and scored from freekick.
Why? He’s 29 and new to the league. We know what we have in Perisic, why get rid of him? If there was any one player who we need to keep it’d be him or Icardi.

I don’t know about all that. Di Maria is one footed, albeit very good with his one foot, and we don’t know how he’ll adapt to the league, which as we’ve seen in the past can be hard for some foreign players. Again, I like Di Maria, he’s great, but I’d rather not sacrifice Perisic.
Di maria was played at Benfica, RM, Man Utd, PSG he always play in big club at 4 different countries. you think he can’t adapt at Inter? he is argentinian, we have banega, icardi, ansaldi which can help him to know Italy. he can play better than lavezzi at italy.
and for your argument about one footed, his natural position is LW but he play at RW far better than perisic, and his FK + crossing something that we can only dream when seeing perisic.
Perisic plays on the left and Di Maria on the right. Why even bother to compare the two like this? And Di Maria is much better than Perisic, experienced world class player.
I didn’t compare the two and never said Di Maria was bad, I think he’s great. I just don’t think it’s worth risking. We’d lose one hell of a good left winger and would have no one to replace him with. I’m all for Di Maria just not a swap.
Since the writing did not mention Perisic and you did, I assumed you were comparing the two. But yeah, Di Maria would be a good signing for the right price ofc. His creativity means that if his speed declines he might even fit to play as a trequartista.
