Gianluca Di Marzio reports through his website that Luciano Spalletti has taken the lead in the race to succeed Stefano Pioli at Inter. Today, Steven Zhang, Walter Sabatini and Piero Ausilio had a three hour meeting to discuss a number of Inter related topics and the next manager was one of them. Next week once the Serie A season ends the situation will become clearly with regard to the next manager.

meanwhile…. amazingly, there’s no name of “The indispensable one, The only survivor of these chaos” Lord Tomo in this article. And by that mean we’ll see him in the coming seasons.
Maybe it’s the same reason why we keep Gabigol in the bench.
Pure Business.

We need a coach who can slowly build Inter in the next 2-3 season ahead.
Don’t wish for instant scudetto next year type of coach, huge gap between the target and our current squad. Our youngs need to be grown, our deadwoods need to be majorly overhauled. a single mercato wont do justice. let alone a single season, if major overhaul happened, the new team need time to know each other, the coach philosophy etc.
I personally prefer simeone over spalleti. But it’s obvious suning wants an italian coach who knows serie a to avoid de boer mistakes. I am still waiting when will simeone be our coach
well, who doesn’t? Problem is, Simeone already announced he’ll stay at Atleti.even if we don’t, why would he jump to us? A new project? Loves and romance for Inter? it would be career suicide for Simeone. Look at our defence, joke. Not to mention we have Ausillio and Sabatini shows that Management don’t have a clue on what to do next.
Why am I afraid that these wankers gonna take wrong decision like last time? Spalleti is a warst choice for in my opinion. Why not Blanc?
I see the opposite friend, Spaletti is a smart coach who knows serie a and this makes him less risky than all the other foreign coaches, and after this disastrous season we can’t afford to take high risks anymore as FDB was the 2nd one and Mancini’s sacking time was the 1st. And to spend on the market and raise the team’s standards you need a trustworthy coach who you know can give the team a CL spot. Afterall the names we have within our squad are “individually” better than Roma’s men
lol
I agree with you Omar. Especially since Suning says we have a ‘150 million’ spending budget for this season. We need a gaffe who knows personally, the Serie A, and its teams in order to make the best transfers. I say if we land that smart coach as you say in a less risky manner, then in three years we could be a driver for the CL
Exactly bro, we need to be consistently in the CL..
that point where we lack of… plus PATIENCES.
Why it’s so hard to us to learn from the teams with patience and faith to the coach in some seasons???
