Corriere dello Sport have revealed the four reasons behind them chasing Luciano Spalletti to become the next Inter manager:
- Spalletti’s contract runs out at the end of the season. Thus, there is no extra payments needed such as compensation to free him unlike with other targets.
- He has Serie A experience and is not a shot in the dark like Frank de Boer was.
- He offers tactical flexibility, something Suning deem as crucial in modern football.
- He has averaged 2.32 points in the last year and a half in Serie A, a figure that would comfortably see the Nerazzurri in the Champions League for the season after next.
Moreover, they recall when Massimo Moratti was in charge and shortlisted Spalletti before chosing Rafa Benitez, something they say emphasises the different thought processes of Moratti and Suning.

Manuel Pellegrini ?
no thanks
hhhhhwhy?
Spaletti, please bring Rudiger or Manolas to Inter. Nainggolan? He is good though, considering his age and our central midfielders’ potential, he is not the main target.
5. No better coach was available.
that’s the real reason.. LOL
Damn, bud. That was harsh like fuck, but also, very true.
P.S.- In your comment about Berardi & Barbosa, I called you crazy ‘mostly’ because you asked, but also because I think Berardi is a much ‘much’ better talent than Barbosa. Wasn’t trying to make fun of you, or your opinion. 😉
It’s cool man. I rate them both highly. Berardi had a lot of opportunity to showcase his talent and develop himself while playing consistently in Sassuolo though while Gabriel was slapped down to the bench since day one. Hopefully he gets loaned out because Inter is talent graveyard.
Good..now let’s move on players front..
I can imagine Naingolan and Gagliardini bossing the midfield! No tress-fucking-passing
