Francisco Maturana, a former Colombian footballer and manager, now involved with FIFA spoke on Diego Simeone: “I now see Juventus as favourites for the Champions League, but rooted for Atletico Madrid, who coached in 1994. Cholo is a good guy, he started with me in Madrid as a player. He imagined that he would go in to management and he will have a great future. He immediately realised that defending is important, his teams play well and are organised without loads of great players.
