Corriere della Sera have revealed there are a number of reasons why Inter have chosen to pursue Luciano Spalletti and make him the new manager of Inter. Spalletti, who will leave Roma at the end of the season offers tactical flexibility and is a perfect match alongside new Technical Coordinator Walter Sabatini as the pair look to relaunch Inter to former heights. Moreover, Spalletti has averaged 2.27 points during his tenure at Roma. Spalletti is also hopeful that Ivan Perisic will not have to be sold as he has the makings of a perfect player in his system.

Yea it’s absolutely ridiculous to sell perisic.
to me, i find it crazy that candreva and perisic have 10+ assists. our attack seems so one dimensional but it worked well. i just feel our midfield lacked anyyyyyy scoring ability. like its actualy crazy how none of our midfielders have more than 4 goals. brozovic is our most prolific midfielder rn.
I hope Inter keep most of this squad: Perisic, candreva, Mario, Banega, Kdog, Icardi, Handa, Medel, Galiardini, and actually would like to see Andreolli remain. The rest should leave. Add in two centre backs and two full backs and a back up to Icardi and we have a good core that Spaletti could work with. Also, whether ppl like Spalletti or not, I hope they will have a coach in place for the long term and build the team bit by bit instead of these crazy rumors of a revolution. I think Inter have a good core of young players that just need some fine tuning and we could compete for top 4.
