After being awarded the ‘Premio Maestrelli’, Stefano Vecchi spoke of the hottest topics of Inter, starting from the issue of the manager for the future:
“Next year the Champions League will help to better plan the season. The names associated with Inter for next season are very good coaches. This team must have a top coach.”
The manager, then, spoke about the Gabigol incident after the Brazilian’s unprofessional gesture of abandoning the bench during the Lazio-Inter match:
“I appreciate the words of Gabriel Barbosa, he apologized to his teammates and the fans. It makes him a man of honor. I will speak with the managers and then talk with his teammates.”
His final thoughts on the current Inter situation:
“I am a man of the company, I know my role and I have to thank the club for the experience – I’m living with great enthusiasm. Hopefully we can work on my renewal with the Primavera, I would be happy to go back to work with my boys in sight of a new Spring championship which will be very exciting.”

They expect the kid to be professional when nobody else at the club is. I am glad he apologised though.
with spaletti being our coach, he won’t let jokers like barbosa play
its not those jokers’ fault or coaches being strict…but the club always buy this jokers and dont know what to do with them..
Not surprised the kid got pissed off and walked out. What needs to happen for him to be in a serious shot of playing? Icardi was out, team was winning, and yet Banega got put on instead… Did we really need a creative playmaker? Not really, what we needed was to lift the fans after some absolute shit football as of late, and this kid gets the fans behind him even with his lack of football. Play the kid ffs
If only comments like this could reach those in power at the club.
I agree with your point about playing him. However, don’t show your frustration like that. Walking out on your team when they are winning, it just shows selfishness.
