Eder to IC: “We had to finish this championship with grit – Palacio taught me a lot.”

Eder Martins spoke with INTER Channel after the success with his two goals against Udinese in the last match of the season:

“Football is like that. It’s beyond goals, we had to finish this championship with grit. Vecchi is good, he asked us to give our maximum. At least we ended up with some ideas to start from next season. We will have to improve a lot, we can not make mistakes.”

Which position are you better at?
“My main role is a second striker, but with the 4-2-3-1 I’m more wide. I felt good all year as I never missed a training session.”

Palacio?
“He taught me a lot. He always gave his absolute best, never missed a training session. These are the players on which you can build a winning team around. He was an example to us all. Like he said, he has found it difficult to leave. But this is football.”
