I get why it’s appealing to think that we lost all those matches on purpose, but I simply can not believe that the club thinks it’s good exposure loosing this many matches. Would you as a top player prefer to go to a team that almost went in to CL, with an exciting project or go to a team rebuilding on year 7. Besides, look at how frustrated fans have been, that’s not good marketing. Plus we could have kept pioli until we got a new coach then.

I think santon has some scarring in his knee or some recurring pain of that sort, probably build up of fluid due to the scarring and why he fails médicals. Perhaps he can’t play 3 games a week and needs another operation to clean the knee… who knows? All I know is that he keeps failing médicals like it’s his job!
