Walter Sabatini is in Milan until Wednesday and Gazzetta dello Sport report that he will meet Steven Zhang and Sporting Director Piero Ausilio over the next coach. Luciano Spalletti remains in pole position and he could be announced as the new Inter manager as early as this weekend. It is a decisive week for Inter in their hunt for a new coach.

I’ve read and listened to all the comments concerning inter this past season without commenting, but the reality is this. The team was poorly constructed in the first place which caused the numerous changing of coaches. Management was poor, as they had one set hiring and firing coaches while you had Suning buying players the team did not need like Gabigol and Jao Mario.Because of these purchases the team was unbalanced and every coach had little choices to get the best results. The team was never Mancini’s, De Boer’s and Pioli’s, each coach had to work with what they had which was unfortunate. We suffered most in midfield and defence where there were no sufficient backup in reserves as fatigue played a large part when the players lost their primary objective when CL qualification became impossible.
The plus side now is that we have a core unit now and we are going to build a team in the way we should have done at the beginning of last season, the coach and management would be totally involved in building the side and the useless players like nagatomo, biabiany, murillo, santon and even brosovic will be allowed to leave
Why wait so long? Get him in today and start building the team tomorrow!
typical our lovable inter management, we’ll wait until 2 weeks before season start to hire a coach–> realllly hope not
Hope Spalletti will be made official tomorrow…
