Radja Nainggolan and Daniele De Rossi are both missing from Roma’s latest promotional work for their pre-season retreat at Pinzolo. The midfield duo, who are central figures of the capital club have both been linked with Inter recently and their absence from the promotional content could be a clue that their respective futures lie away from the Stadio Olimpico.

In our dreams….
….could be reality
Hope so, but really…
bernaerschi – icardi – berardi
nainggolan – j rodriguez – gagliardini/fabregas
dalbert – pepe – de vriz- rudriger
handanovic
Fabregas? wtf
Rudiger RB? wtf
Im fine with cesc as long as we can get him for loan with option to buy
Zappacosta is my man for tight full back, he has some great crosses! And why not Di María on right? He’s clearly miles better than Berardi
Di Maria’s wages…
but he will sell shirts world wide!
only if we perform well and get into Champions League.
No, we got a lot of fans in Italy and world wide, and those fans all knows Di María, he’s world class, and world known as a great player – and our fans would love to get our new shirt with his name on it.
I mean if you were to buy the new shirt for next season, which name from the current squad would you put on the back?? He’s the big name that could sell our shirts and make the media notice Inter again! Him and James!
our international shirt sales aren’t really THAT great. yes we have fans but that fan base seems to be getting smaller and smaller. Even BBmilan has greater worldwide sales. Yes a world class player like Di Maria would boost sales for sure (when at Man United he was one of the top selling shirt sales) but c’mon man … Serie A isnt that popular anymore AND we are a mid table team. Juve playing in the final the last few years helps boost the league but WE need results to get our rep up!
Actually you’re wrong Serie a is growing in popularity, is the number one league (with the Spanish one) in South America) and is growing a lot in Asia too!
The league is behind The PL for sure, but it is growing compared to just a few years ago… even the stadiums are getting more full than “ever” before, the national teams are doing really well, the teams are playing great, technically attacking minded football and they are producing so many talented players – both from Italy and from abroad – so Serie A is growing.
actually you are wrong. if you look at the data, there has been a steady decline since 2006 in attendance, viewing figures and social media presence. The last 2 years have seen a bit of an up turn. We had a great season attendance wise. But thats not the case for every club. and in south america, Serie A for the most part is 3rd most popular behind La Liga and EPL. i just looked this up. Obviously south america is a big region, but TV rights and viewership show that statistically throughout that continent, Serie A ranks in 3rd in most watched. Now imagine where our club ranks, 7th in Serie A. We dont have the Big Argentina or Brasil stars we used to.
My point was-Italian football is on their way up again and with the right star player(s) arriving we can boost shirt sales world wide. Di María is a world known player especially in South America and will make South Americans and new fans in Asia buy the shirt like there’s no tomorrow – but I still hope we can get James in too as he too has a world famous name!
would love to see both Di Maria and James. I don’t want to get my hopes up too high but i am very excited for this upcoming transfer market!!!
Me too – I´m very excited as well.. this looks like the first time in, I don’t now for many years, we finally will be back on the big stage (almost) when it comes to buying players!
lol right after i wrote that i saw an article stating that Real Madrid rejected our latest bid because James wants to go to United…i’m still excited though!
If James doesn’t arrive, someone else will – we surely have enough money to spend since we can offer big money for James and Di Maria!
I think this is more realistic:
Keita-Icardi-Candreva/Berardi
James
Gags-Kdog
Dalbert-Miranda/Pepe-Rudiger-D’ambro
Handanovic
It looks like Bernadeschi is going to Juve. And with all of the international call up’s D’ambrosio is getting i have a feeling he will be our main RB. Remember they still want to “italianize” the team. though i would love seeing Nainggolan in the squad…the price roma set will be too much for us though!
welcome to inter both of you
