if we want to sign a star player, I prefer at DMF position, our AMF is already crowded. also because the game flow always from Defender-MF-AMF/Winger-striker. it’s useless to bring great player at upfront when the bottom side cant feed him with decent passes or protect the defence when attacker go front. look at how Madrid destroyed when lost makelele, and chelsea strong again with Kante. what we really miss now is a leader in the middle like Cambiasso and Motta, someone who cover defence and build gameplay.

matic, he is good, sometimes inconsistent. I prefer Matic than James btw, that’s we need now a proper DMF not AMF. casemiro, alcantara and kante would be a dream.
Him behind Icardi with Di María on the right and Bernardeschi on the left and with Gagliardini and Krychowiak behind them (don’t believe we can get Naingolan) plus a center pair of Pepe and Manolas (whom I prefers over a very strong Rudiger and De Vrij, because of his technique and skills on the ball), plus a very interesting looking Dalbert on the left and (hopefully) Zappacosta in the right – would guarantee us a top 2-3 spot next year!

i find it impossible for us to sign Bernardeschi, Di María and James. this trio costs around 150m and then we still have no defense and quality bench
James has the same agent as Pepe, the agent Jorge Mendes, and it is a known secret that Inter is working closely with him this summer in order to bring some of his clients to Inter. James isn’t playing much at Real and they need the money they invested plus we already made a huge offer last summer when we already HAD signed Mario and Gabi, so the money is there.
Talking about money like you did, true those players will cost us and it’s just a wild dream of mine BUT if we spend the 150 you mentioned, and which has been mentioned many places as our summer transfer budget (could be more), then we still get money in from out going players (Ranno, JJ, Jovatic, Broso, Murillo, Santon, Nagatomo, Biabiany, PERISIC and more) and those money could easily be spent on a free Pepe, Manolas who won’t sign a new contract with Roma, a 14 mil player called Dalbert and (hopefully) Zappacosta from Torino!
Since we become rich club, we seems forget with ausilio formula. I believe some of our new players will come with those formula.
