Pirelli CEO Marco Tronchetti Provera spoke on the expected arrival of Luciano Spalletti on to the Inter bench: “I have seen many coaches, some have been great, they gave more than previously expected while others have disappointed. Spalletti likes good football, I hope he’s the right person, he is among the great coaches. We have to see if Inter manages to create a dressing room, which so far they have not been able to do so. You have to work hard and have a core within the squad who, with passion and humility are willing to share success. In football, as in all other sports, the seriousness and psychological strength play a crucial part and the coaching and the company is giving this solidity that Inter lacked.”
He then spoke on the arrival of a potential superstar at Inter in the mercato: “I hope Inter gets some, they always make a difference. Suning wants to build a great team, there are several players that make you dream and I hope that one of these arrives.”
He concluded discussing the gap between Inter and Juventus: “Inter will come good when things are done seriously. I know what the goals are and I think they can get close to Juve because I see the will of Zhang to stay in Milan and learn Italian.”
