Stefano Pioli was unveiled as the new manager of Fiorentina today. At his press conference he spoke on Federico Bernardeschi: “The club have made a timely move by offering a contract renewal beyond their capabilities, now he must decide what he wants to do. I’ll call him, as I do with all the players, I want to know them.”
Pioli also reflected on his time at Inter: “It was definitely a troubled season, I have no regrets, I gave my best. For four months we got exceptionally positive results, then the last two they did not arrive.”
