Premium Sport report that Suning are readying a joint bid between €80-90 million for Fiorentina’s Federico Bernardeschi and Nikola Kalinic. The former will join Inter while the latter will join their other club Jiangsu Suning.

People here seeing the limitations of Bernardeschi. Interesting to see if our management sees the same or do they just believe in his potential over his glaring weaknesses.

If this news turned to be true, 80-90 million euros for Bernadeschi and Kalinic, while Perisic and Icardi (much better pair IMHO) are still in the squad? Seriously, Suning? Have they learned anything about Gabigone 30 million euros flushed for non existing value added to the team last season? I will not even pay for 30 million euros for Bernadeschi. I’ve seen his games many times, still I haven’t been convinced at all. Too much hype, media BS and greedy agent around this operation. IMHO, another Gabigone 2.0 transfer. And Kalinic? For god sake he will be 30 years old next year and he has been declining since his last injuries. Moreover, we still have Icardi.
For 90 Million euros, we can finish the transfer of Rudiger/De Vrij + Mouctar Diakhaby + Dalbert + Conti/Zappacosta + Berrardi in one snap!
I am sorry but I really don’t understand the hype behind Bernardeschi. Watched him today for Italy vs Uruguay and he was invisible after replacing Candreva. Literally lost the ball on every touch. For the 50m or whatever it is Fiorentina want they can keep him. Get Berardi instead
douglas costa and renato sanches are up for sale for around 50 for both players
Douglas Costa would be better than Berna for next season. He just might choose us instead of some PL team. Depends on the competition of course.
i dont like the way we are linked with many decent players with jacked up prize, and doesnt seem to be able to bargain.

if u trace back sabatini’s track record, all his signings have been cheap buys into good players but none of them were marquee players.
I still kind of trust that Sabatini will be able to gather a competitive team for next season. At his previous clubs he hasn’t really had the money to sign marquee signings. I’m just not that convinced about this Berna kid or love Rüdi as a player either. I just hope we could be able to take both Berna and Costa in case Banega and Perisic leave. Dunno, summer is still young, but it does seem our management really wants Berna, Rûdi and Dalbert. They could work out and are young too.

baldy wants rudiger cos he’s able to play as both right back and central defender
last season in roma he was constantly switching between 3 to 4 defenders even during a game,which leaves us STILL having to buy one proper CB or WB

i agree, conti is very overrated, it will be a mistake to buy him
Am I the only one who doesn’t really rate bernardeschi that highly? I saw some viola games and videos. He just breaks down all attacks because of poor decision making. He either tries to dribble everyone and he loses the ball or he just takes some dumb shots instead of passing. I honestly think Berardi is the superior talent imo

I agree. I haven’t seen anything impressive from this kid. Perisic is miles ahead of him in every department. In my opinion this would be a huge step down for us. BUT, he’s better than Candreva. He can play right side for us. That would be nice.
