Spending 15 on Dalbert instead of utilising talents we alr have, for cover at least (Di Marco, Miangue), epitomises exactly what has been wrong with this club.
Neither Dimarco nor Miangue played much in the season just ended at the club where they were playing on loan – so how should they be an upgrade to what we have?
Dimarco had a really bad game when Italy U21 lost the semifinal against England U21. He is not ready. I don’t understand this fetish with youngsters many people here have. If we want to fight for mid table position next year we can start guys like Dimarco.

I have to say I’m skeptical about this, he sounds exciting but so did Ansaldi. €5-15m range is exactly the type of purchase we make for mediocre fullbacks. Hopefully he turns out to be great.
