Despite persistent rumours linking Gary Medel with a move to Boca Juniors, he now appears set to remain with Inter for the foreseeable future.
TyC Sports journalist Leandro Aguilera claims to have spoken directly with the Chilean midfielder who confirmed he will be at the disposal of coach Luciano Spalletti next season.

Then you need to step up your game to gain Mr.Baldman trust
Guys you are trying to discuss him. I say bitch fuck off, DOESN’T DESERVE to be a part of this club. I have passed all of these 7 years for free, supporting them in every game, but it was just illusion. Finally I want to see worthy players, who are capable to promote us to the top. We are rich now, so make it happen. These colors are too great to stay in mediocrity. I just want to enjoy as it was before, not giving a fuck with some stupid confidence, that we are going to win something, because we are strong enough))
six months ago I was rooting for him to stay. Now it’s better he leaves. Naive in international week as well
he was worse as cb than a midfielder, those who praise him apparently didn’t watch the final stage of the last seasn. in another note he didn’t renew his contract, actually his contract is due to expire next summer and if he refuse to leave we can always orders the guard at apiano gentily to lock the door .idiot
He didn´t renew after all? I thought it was a done thing. Maybe even Ausilio could see from his woeful performances that it wasn´t worth to renew him? Now that would be a first.
as a CB he was decent. he should never be allowed on the mid field ever again!
Our problem isn’t medel, this guys plays with his heart and runs is socks off each and every time.
exactly!!!
too bad his performance and effectiveness is not nearly as good as his attitude. mediocre dm at best, shouldnt be more than a constant benchwarmer at a team that actually wants to get back on the world map of football
He will never leave. Our “magic man” Ausilio made sure of that by renewing his contract recently. Bravo!
We should just make sure that the players that are not wanted will not get any gametime and will be sent to stands for every game. Let them enjoy the salary if they wish, but ruin their careers while they are at it.
He was renewed this spring with reported 2,4mil salary until 2020. Good luck getting rid of him, although we might get lucky and find some dumb PL team who could pay those wages. But he’ll probably want to stay and fight for his place like most of our trash always do. I hope I’m wrong.
That is why we need to tell them that there wont be any “fighting for my place” shit going on. If a player is not useful for the coach and wont agree to leave we need to make them sit in the stands waste their career, not be in the line-up as back-ups. OR offer them the golden handshake to make them leave..
the only thing im looking forward to with Spalletti is that he might actually tell these clowns to fuck off. if he stood up against Totti im sure these medel and nagatomo types wont be a problem
by the time his contract ends he’ll be 33 years old and 7.2 million euros richer….do you really think he’s gonna care that he rots on the bench ? excellent work Ausilio, now you know why i Miss Marco Branca 🙂
You can’t possibly compare Medel to Nagashit and the rest. He saved Inter many times and was one of the better defenders while healthy last season. Always brings the right attitude to the pitch and fights till the end. He can be a great addition from the bench next season.
I like his attitude, but he can’t cut it anymore. As a defender this season he was hopelessly too slow and his small size doesn’t help his defending also. As a midfielder he lacks brains and the lack of pace is also an issue. I don’t question his attitude, but his performances especially late this season were just plain bad.
