Tomorrow marks 20 years since Massimo Moratti signed Ronaldo for Inter. The former owner and president of the Nerazzuri spoke to Mi-Tomorrow on the transfer: “It was not easy. It was on the radio but I didn’t believe it and thought I had heard wrong so I stormed into my parents living room and turned on the TV and searches like a maniac for the news about Ronaldo to Inter on the Teletext – yes it was way before the Internet days, like today, where we sit every day with our Phone and read about rumors and beginning transfers before they even happen. But back then we had to wait until the transfer was officiel to know anything about it…
I couldn’t believe we had manage to get the most exciting striker in the world at that time and to pair hm with Vieri and Recoba seemed simply amazing!

to me messi is the best now but R9 was 2 times the player messi is and 5 times the player cr7 is
true talk. we also cant forget that its a complete other generation. il fenomeno was ahead of his time and is still nowadays ahead of the present imo.
