Gazzetta dello Sport report that Borja Valero would be the fifth Spaniard to wear the Nerazzurri jersey. The current Fiorentina player has a 50/50 chance of being a star or flopping based on the history of the four Spaniards before him.
Luisito Suarez and Joaquin Peiro were part of the Grande Inter side of the 1960’s that conquered all before them. Both players time at Inter would be considered as a success.
Meanwhile, Francisco Farinos and Martin Montoya’s time at the Nerazzurri is not looked back at with quite the same fondness. Farinos arrived in 2000 and his time at Inter was blighted by injury as he made just 49 league appearances in 5 years. Montoya on the other hand arrived on loan two summers ago. Arriving from Barcelona, the full back was set to spend a season at the San Siro but lasted just 6 months before returning to Spain.

Inter 5th Spaniard it must be Francisco Román Alarcón Suárez.
not this guy.
is this the best you’ve got Spaletti?? you think with Borja Valero inter can compete for scudetto or CL spot??
I think he can. We all are looking for big money moves but we have to look at our team. This is a talented group but not a team yet and I get to play as a unit. Every coach and analysis says this. Imo we need few additional players defense is a must. Valero is a very underrated player and I believe he would be an upgrade not because of his quality but his know how. He’s not a one man army but I think he can get or midfield ticking together like it should.
is this a joke? no offense to Valero but Banega is a just a better player-
And 10m more expensive. (FFP)
I have a feeling that we will make 1 big buy this season
