Inter and Fiorentina today formally began negotiating the terms of Borja Valero’s transfer in the Hotel Principe di Savoia, Milan.
Piero Ausilio met Pantaleo Corvino to inform him of the Nerazzurri’s desire to sign the Spaniard, who now appears to be convinced by Luciano Spalletti’s technical project which would see him deployed as a deep-lying playmaker in his 4-2-3-1 formation.
It will not be easy to convince the Tuscans to sell however, despite the fact the Beneamata have already agreed personal terms with the former Villarreal man. It may require a bid of €10 million to seal the deal.
