Luciano Spalletti confirmed that Inter would sign two central defenders in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport. Milan Skriniar looks set to be 1 of the 2 and is expected to arrive from Sampdoria for a fee between €13-15 million plus Gianluca Caprari.

The second player could well be Matija Nastastic Gazzetta dello Sport detail. Piero Ausilio and his agent Fali Ramdani have met recently, mainly to discuss Stevan Jovetic but Nastastic’s name came in to the conversation. The Serbian central defender is currently on the books of Schalke until 2019.

The 24 year old is no stranger to Serie A having played for Fiorentina in the 2011-12 season before a €24.4 million move to Manchester City.
