According to Sky, Inter could complete the Borja Valero deal very soon. Fiorentina wanted 10m for the player and Inter offered 4m but right now it seems the deal will be of 6-7m. It is expected Inter will kick start the mercato with the deal.

I refuse to believe he’s better than Banega. Banega is a class player and is playing for the Argentinian NT. Borja has never played in a big club, is 32 years old and he’s not gonna get faster or stronger now. If inter pays more than 5 mil euros for him they’ve been robbed. If he’s sooo good why doesn’t any other team wants him? He’s not a player than will struck fear in the opponent teams. The problem is that Inter don’t have ANY PATICENCE. They want results NOW and always seem desperate. Last year was not only EMBARRASSING, it was also CATASTROPHIC. The team they had was a CL quality but the mentality is super weak. Inter needs winners and strong mentality players. . Borja hasn’t won anything.

Exactly, we have young squad, but last season especially that young midfield represented by kongdogbia, gagliardini and joao seemed clueless in some situations and they didnt know what to do with the ball. I think this might be key signing of the next season although almost everyone here is complaining about borja because he is “old”. But i would say he is not old, he is EXPERIENCED and thats exactly what this team needs. Mix between young fresh blood that we have but also mentors like miranda borja… All the good teams need to have that mix because without experience you just dont know what to do in certain situations where you either need to score a winner or need to hold the ball as we saw last season against milan and many others where we conceded lots of goals in stoppage time
