Marcelo Simonian spoke to ABC de Sevilla on his client Ever Banega’s future which is set to be at Sevilla: “It’s all done. It is not closed because some details are missing, but everyone agrees, he will go to Sevilla. For how many years? A three-year contract has been offered.”

I’ like banega staying at inter, but I cannot understand 2 things in this case :
-spalletti doesn’t care about him and wants to get rid of him, which makes me think about quality of his coaching … valero is better ?! I doubt it very much.
– not other big clubs are taking adventage of banega’s and ffp situation at inter … only rusians, chinese and sevilla ?!? how come that many of CL clubs don’t need such a player, 28 yeras old, experienced, playing in national team, for a ridiculous summ of money ?! does he have an idiot manager ?!
I like the way we have been doing business not soften our stance on what we want for our players n after Friday we should be able to give spalletti control n let him take us to Cl
what a player he is, a dream for any coach, passing vision dribbling shooting is only second to snjeder in his prime, we interistas haven’t seen magical feet like that on a CAM since Wesley
i really dont understand why we want to get rid of him. Class player like you said
inter
He gave us 5 goals and 8 assists in his first season, with only a few starter games. I dont understand why would we sell a player calibre of him so cheaply?? He’ll definitely get better in his second year in Italy. I really cant stop complaining in recent Inter transfer activity
And Lord naga is still here, we’re not even pushing him out…
Should not have done with those assholes… Paid 26mil for Muriel while refusing to pay 13mil for Jovetic. Joke of the season!
Muriel to Sevilla done deal?
Almost.. Ferrero implied it: http://www.football-italia.net/104814/ferrero-%E2%80%98skriniar-will-sign-inter%E2%80%99
Thanks, Alex.
they wont pay 26m trust me
this + sponsorship money – ffp solved! Waiting for July with open arms.
It still feels like we are letting Banega go on the cheap… Meanwhile, Nagatomo, Ranocchia, Brozovic, Biabiany, Santon, Medel are still here…
We got him for free so we’re not loosing money at all. We just need to sell Jojo and the rest mentioned above and we’ll be all set and avoid loosing our star players. People like Biabany and Naga are ass holes and will turn down teams because they don’t think they’d have a starting role when they’re just bench warmers at Inter.
you are right on Banega but we lost money to many times, we should earn some back on deals like this when we have a rare chance
True, but of banega and perisic. Who would you sell cheap?
My point is that we are letting a player of Banegas calibre away from us way too cheap. Even if we got him for free. There has been rumours of a price tag around 9M-10M. At current players prices that is ridiculously cheap.
Biabiany, Naga, Santon and Ranocchia deserve to get their contracts terminated and paid some kind of a golden handshake if they reject moves. We don’t need them sitting on the bench when we only play in Serie A and Coppa. We can use our yougsters in that.
Jovetic (15M), Medel (10M) , Brozovic (20-25M) are players that we can actually get sold at this window.
Yes. I’m also the one who valued Banega so high because of his capabilty and experience. 9M is way too cheap.
But, if the coach don’t have any plan in the squad for him, what can we do? Still that amount is way too cheap. Yes, I agree on that. But, we don’t really know what’s the reason behind his low price.
Maybe we are bringing in a similar kind of a player, or Spalletti sees Joao Mario to be more of his liking for the attacking midfielder role. JM would track back and contribute to the defensive part also more, but lack some of Banegas qualities in the offence for sure.
the think is, which other team that put banega in the top list. I don’t think any other team beside (unfortunately) sevila wants Banega, that’s why.
And it’s kinda ridiculous now we’re going all in for Borja Valero, which is I think not really an upgrade from Banega.
borja is consistent, has serie a experience and can play the deep lying midfielder role. banega has some sweet touches, but does not move the ball around very well often*
i appreciate that the coach does not want to gamble this season, which is spalletti 101. he is here to get results and borja delivers.
i have watched the majority of inter games this season, missed only 3. i must say that when banega is on, he is unstoppable, but he is inconsistent, and is caught in possession daydreaming more often than a player of his caliber should. tango out, salsa in
why would we sell medel?
He is simply too short to play as a CB. We saw that at the second part of the season, when he was constantly out of position or outmuscled from the ball. And he seemed slow also, don’t know if that was due to injury or what but still.
+ his capabilites as a midfielder are limited in my eyes. He pretty much only makes easy passes to teammates and slows down the game all the time. Yes, he tracks back and defences well as a defensive mid, but we can do better than that.
And there was earlier few articles regarding the fact that Spalletti didn’t see him fit for his plans. I think thats the biggest reason.
he shines more as a cb in a 3 man defense, so judging him on this shitty season with no decent full backs or midfield support is a bit unfair. he wouldn’t be a staple in the 2 time copa america wining chilean defense if he was a bad defender.
i agree he lacks alot to be a creative midfielder, but as a destroyer he is second to none. his stamina, passion and tenacity are attributes that lack in ALL inter players. not to mention his charisma and personality off and on the pitch.
i say, if he is cool with not being a starter, we should keep him. not too many players like him around for that price; i guarantee you
Yeah, we are most likely going to play 4-2-3-1 next season, which could at some point of the game turn into 3 at the back formation as Spalletti played with Roma. But with D’Ambrosio’s renewal, he is most likely to be the RB, whom comes the third CB then. And hopefully we buy a new attacking LB who pushes forward.
Can’t argue with you about Medel’s mental attributes and stamina, at those he is awesome. Maybe he can be an example for the younger players.
But I’d like to see him mostly as a sub player if he is kept. And used in situations when we need to hold on to a one goal lead at the end of the game. In the end Spalletti should be given the decision on who he wants to keep.
Exactly, he is too good to let go. Utilise him in rotation and a as super sub to shut tircky opponents down.
banega and jovetic are our star players
Ye, i know, but be patient, give this managment a chance. I think most of them, if not all, will be sold this transfer window. Have faith.
That is correct, they are going to be use them as deal sweeteners. Just like Caprari in the Skriniar deal. What I observe is this the Sabatini’s formula (Cash + Sweeteners (+ Redeeming clause if it’s a young player with potential in the future))
I read somewhere that we have to earn 30 just from sales not sponsorship to meet ffp demands
I was thinking the same, but now i guess sponsors count as well.
we can use only 30% from sponsorship
Still need to raise 10mil.. That’s why they are forced to sell Banega for 9-10 mil before June 30th …
Yep, thats why i said this + sponsors, i meant Banega deal. Anyways, better Banega for 10mil than Perisic for 30mil…
