TuttoMercatoWeb report that Inter have taken the initial steps towards Davide Zappacosta. One of the 25 year old and Lorenzo de Silvestri are expected to leave Torino over the course of the mercato and at the moment, it is Zappacosta looking most likely.

Zappacosta is a two-faced right full back.
Incredibly strong offensivily.
Poor defensively.
Ideally he should be more of a right wing ,just ahead of the three defense,that way he is more covered by the right-centre back and has less defensive responsabilities.
I do like him,but from Torino I also like Barreca a lot,and we need a natural left back even more than a right back.
I haven’t watched him enough to say anything, but I value your comments, because you usually have watched many games and know a lot about these guys. It wouldn’t be the first time a guy like Zappa makes everyone here drool over him with some good NT performances and then turns out to be something not so great. Torino’s defence leaked really bad last season.

He doesn’t make our defense better.
He makes our offense better.
But,even on that:
Do we really need a lot more crosses coming from the right wing?
Is that really what we need the most?
..he is pretty good but is he what we need the most?

Sabatini and Ausilio have a tough job with the defence – it either makes or brakes our season. If we want an italian fb I might go for Darmian, even though he isn’t the flashiest option out there. But it seems he wants to stay at ManU. Not too many fb options out there that would be guaranteed return for money and want to choose us as their next club.
My two favorite realistic options for full backs are Darmian on the right and Barreca on the left.
Darmian can do both but I like him much more on the right.
Actually my favorite would be Spinazzola but he is owned by juve, so forget it.
If Zappa comes I will forget my doubts on him and love him because he is actually fun to watch,so good he is at pushing on that right band .
