Ever Banega was officially announced as a Sevilla player for the second time today. The Argentine, who left Inter after just a season had the following to say at his unveiling press conference: “I am very happy to be back in what I call my home. I spent two spectacular years here previously in which we achieved important results. I was in contact with many friends, they have reopened the doors I have already spoken to some of them. I want to give my best as I did in the two years I was here before, I come back with greater enthusiasm and the desire to work.”

Banega re-joined the Andalusian side in a €9 million deal at the end of last month in a deal that greatly helped Inter’s Financial Fair Play cause. He joined Inter on a free transfer and went on to score 6 goals and get 8 assists in his short time with the Nerazzurri.
