This is a good move. Do you think Sevilla are happy to let Banega go for free and paid 9M to get him back? If Sevilla pulled a bad deal, Inter made a good one…it’s simple as that. This is not a lose-lose deal.

I’d give Inter some slack here. We wanted to cash in Banega quickly for FFP, rather than waiting for the market-value offer to arrive, which may or may not happen. Just because footballers have “fair-market” values, this doesn’t mean clubs can cash in at the value quickly & on-time.
