Premium Sport report that Alejandro ‘Papu’ Gomez is Inter’s alternative to Angel Di Maria. Walter Sabatini is currently working with PSG to try and secure Di Maria, formerly of Real Madrid and Manchester United but if unsuccessful, Inter will move for the Atalanta captain.
Papu wishes to know Inter’s intentions before giving an answer to Atalanta with regard to a contract renewal, after starring last season. Roma and Lazio are both also interested in the former Catania attacker.

I heard many inter fans over the years “HOPE” to win anything these last 5 years or so only to be let down by another “YEAR ZERO” to be the best you need a team that generates over 500 million in revenue per year, like Juventus with 560 million in the 2016-2017 season. Probably half the price for Gomez can be paid with youngsters going the other way.

So true. And Gomez has always been consistent in Serie A throughout his career. He is not a star signing but we don’t even that since our wingers are pretty great already.
Cross-master Candreva can be replaced as he does nothing but blindly crosses the ball hoping Icardi is there with his head.

The difference is Di Maria won’t help improve younger wingers because only 2 of them play and their on opposite sides of the field, where Naingo will be beside Gagliardini helping him learn quicker. Azzkikr is right. No need for Di Maria, bring in someone younger like, oh I don’t know Berardi?
Same case as Eder…go for Di Maria instead..he will have other beneficial contribution whether or not this skinny winger will succeed in Italy.
