Inter are interested in snatching Steven N’Zonzi from under the noses of rivals Juventus. Corriere dello Sport report that the Nerazzurri will find negotiations smoother with Sevilla than Juventus will and have a trump card to play. The Andalusian club would like €40 million for the central midfielder but Inter could offer Stevan Jovetic as part of a deal. Sevilla had showed an interest to retain Jovetic after his six month loan spell but were unable to come to terms with Inter having let the €13 million redemption clause expire.

With Jovetic included, Inter may offer around €20 million to secure the Frenchman. Something that Juventus can offer that Inter can not is Champions League football, which could hinder the Beneamata’s chances of signing the 28 year old.

Should N’Zonzi arrive at the San Siro, Luciano Spalletti would give the green light to a Marcelo Brozovic departure. As of yet, there are no concrete offers for the temperamental Croatian.
