Inter are interested in signing Andreas Christensen Corriere dello Sport report. The Danish defender, who has just returned to Chelsea following a 2 year loan with Bundesliga outfit Borussia Monchengladbach.
In the past two seasons, the 21 year old centre back made a grand total of 82 appearances, rarely missing a game during his time at Borussia Park.
Christensen will cost the Nerazzurri in excess of €17 million seeing as Gladbach saw an offer of €17 million rejected, as they looked to redeem him following what was a fruitful spell with the club. Space is expected to be limited for Christensen at Chelsea, who has David Luiz, Gary Cahill and possibly Antonio Rudiger, should the Blues complete the signing of the German, ahead of him in the pecking order. Moreover, Antonio Conte’s side are targeting yet another centre half in Club Brugge’s Bjorn Engels. Christensen, a product of the Chelsea academy’ current deal runs until 2020.
