Inter are unwilling to give in to Nice’s demands for Dalbert, Gazzetta dello Sport detail. The French club want €20 million for the Brazilian full back but Inter deem that figure excessive. Despite this, the Nerazzurri wish to keep the move open. Inter are also on the lookout for alternatives to the 23 year old.
For right back, Inter have three names in mind. Manchester United’s Matteo Darmian, Juventus’ Stephan Lichtsteiner and Atletico Madrid’s Sime Vrsaljko.

PLEASE INTER GET LICHSTEINER !! then go to AC Milan and get Paletta and Montolivo so that your team will look like this:
Handanovic
Nagatono – Miranda – Paletta – Lichsteiner
Valero – montolivo
Candreva – Palacio – Eder
Icardi
Average age = REALLY DAMN OLD !!
This is some kind of a joke, right? Lichtsteiner is on the decline (wasn’t even registered for CL till winter), and he’s not even considered as a starter at Juve after them losing Dani Alves (Danilo being talked about now).
I liked Lichtsteiner’s play during his peak years…not the case anymore.
Lol, he is a rubentini troll 😀
is it a joke? I thought the same thing when Inter offered John Carew a physical but that ended up being true so if I have learned 1 thing about Inter it is this: if it’s a really stupid move Inter is rumored to make then it has a good chance of being true ! PS – i would rather have a 40 year old Lichsteiner than Dambrosio in his prime any day of the week !!
Mmm..Mayb leach should hav starded the final
that’s like saying “maybe Ranocchia should have started against Crotone when Inter lost 2-1” but it doesn’t matter because in both instances the better team won 😛
GdS must have reprinted an article from an year ago. Atleti is not selling anyone until their transfer ban is over. Lichsteiner not coming, not wanted, and old as shit. Darmian is not much of un upgrade on Dambro.
He is a leftback
Aurier´s agent told in an interview that Juve hasn´t made contact to him, but an other Italian club has – maybe inter? Aurier is a bit of a trouble maker, but I would certainly be happy if he joined us.
We need also a Nainggolan or Vidal to lead our midfield. Dalbert or Barreca as lb would be nice and I wouldn´t mind Fazio as cb. Then Di Maria or Douglas Costa for attack and the squad would look quite fine. Hopefully there will soon be some real signings announced once this Valero saga that has taken forever will come to an end.
Were going soooooo sllowwwww..huufftt
I think Inter are finally doing business wisely. Selling before buying and not overspending. The fact that there are no news leaking from the kitchen may be a sign that the club organization and hierarchy is finally working.
lets hope so brother
Aurier would really be a nice signing I think. Hopefully that is the reason why we are acting so slow on Dalbert’s case. Signing Aurier could probly push D’Ambrosio to play as a LB, since he just signed a new deal. He is viewed as a starter by the management, but I could be wrong here. Dalbert and Darmian are my first choices for LB still, don’t know enough of Barreca, what are his best qualities?
For midfield I’d see Nainggolan as the best buy, because it would weaken Roma significally and I just really hate Vidal. I don’t care that he is a great midfielder, I just hate him so much. And he is a former Rubentino, drunk driver and just a complete asshole on the pitch. I’d rather get Matuidi or Naby Keita if Nainggolan deal fails.
As for Di Maria, the cost of bringing him worries me. If its just a cash deal and he lowers his wages, then i’m all for it! But if we have to give PSG Kondogbia or Joao Mario + cash then a no from me. Douglas Costa would be a good signing in my eyes. But where did you leave Lucas Moura from that list? I see him as a great alternate also.
What comes to Fazio, I have never liked him as a player. Slow, clumsy looking and on the wrong side of 30. But hey, if Spalletti wants him and he costs 4-8M why not..
Aurier and Dalbert for full backs would be great, D’Ambrosio shouldn’t be a starter.
Nainggolan would be ideal for midlfield, I really hope we get him. Vidal seems very unlikely to me, Keita is too expensive and Matuidi seems destined for Juve. We’ve also been linked with N’Zonzi and Goretzka for midfield, I don’t really know much about N’Zonzi, but I think Goreztka will end up at Bayern (probably next summer)
I would gladly take Di Maria, but I completely agree that we should keep Kondogbia and Mario and only offer cash. The thing that worries me is that initially it was reported that we’d get Di Maria regardless of whether Perisic stays or goes, which got me dreaming of an attack of Perisic – Icardi – Di Maria. Now it seems Perisic is leaving but we’re still only looking for one winger, whereasI think we should get two. Costa and Lucas Moura would be good I think, I’d love Brandt but it seems like targeting any player in Bundesliga is fighting a losing battle with Bayern.
As for centre backs, as much as people seem to dislike Fazio I think he’d be a good backup for 7-8m as he played well under Spaletti for Roma. I’d keep Murillo for at least another season too. I’d also like Gimenez but if we had Fazio and Murillo as back ups I don’t see a need for another centre back. 35-40 million for this Davidson Sanchez guy is ludicrous imo.
I would’ve loved to see us buy a young keeper as understudy to Handanovic but after getting Padelli I don’t see that happening.
The most worrying thing for me is Milan’s market. Looking at their team I’m struggling to find a position where I wouldn’t trade their player for ours, except Icardi, Perisic (who’ll most likely leave) and maybe CB but I don’t know much about Musacchio.
It’s time for Inter to step up their game.
I see that we share quite similar ideas! Thats nice! Like I answered to il Biscione our CB situation could be settled with Miranda, Skriniar, Murillo and Fazio for next season!
As for N’Zonzi, he could be the workhorse of our midfield, whose job is to track back always. But like you, I haven’t seen enough of him to actually have a true opinion of him. But yeah Nainggolan is the dream! Goretzka is quite similar with J.Mario and Gagliardini. And none of them is great at tracking back and defending.
Brandt would be an interesting signing, a winger like playmaker for the flank. Whom has a bright future ahead of him. I’d be happy to get him. The problem is that he said himself that he isn’t moving this summer. He wants to play in a familiar league and get a WC spot for the national team. Maybe we could add Keita Balde for the winger list. Although he seems to be focused on going to Juventus.
We just need to have faith and wait for signings, they will come! And I doubt that Milan are going to make many more, they have already spent like +120M
Oh yeah, I’d forgotten about Keita Balde and also Inaki Williams. Keita would be good but like you said he seems to want Juve, although they might pass on him if they get Bernadeschi. I haven’t seen Williams play but I’ve heard he’s good, however I don’t want to pay €50m for him.
Yeah I’d say Milan’s market will be over soon enough, but if they sign Conti and Biglia I don’t think they’ll really need anyone else. My only hope is that they don’t gel this season, (like when we signed 9 players a few years ago, although I don’t know if you can compare because their signings seem a lot smarter) and that they don’t make CL, Donnarumma and maybe a few others leave and the club is in debt.
I’m hoping our management is working on a few deals behind the scenes and that we can start wrapping up some deals soon.
Yeah, we need good full-backs and I´d also like Darmian very much. Barreca is quite sound defensively and can push forward also, as he has some pace and skill also. He was one of the best performers in Italian U21 team at the Euros. We need those two good fb´s like everyone is saying here all the time. Two good fb´s is a must and I don´t really care about the names, just that they are good.
But I mean besides good full-backs this team is crying a leader at the back who can stamp his authority in the box and in my eyes Fazio could fit the bill, but I don´t really care about the name. We need a no-nonsense cb who can make attackers feel unwelcome in our box. Fazio is slow, but he was pretty much Roma´s best defender last season and if we aren´t playing with too high defensive line he won´t get in too many uncomfortable situations where he has to run too much – I mean Spalletti made that happen at Roma last season.
Besides that rough no-nonsense defender we would desperately need a midfield leader who has grit and skill and can rally the team. I think that kind of midfielder will be the hardest thing to acquire. Vidal would fit the bill for me alongside Nainggolan.
I would also wish we could get a tricky winger. Di Maria or Douglas Costa aren´t a must have signings, but we would need someone who can take on defenders and add something different compared to Perisic and Candreva.
Yeah, Darmian is actually a fullback who can defend really well. The way you describe Barreca peaked my interest now, going to look into him more now. But he would surely fit the younger/Italian model well and he would have the upper hand with Dalbert that he knows Serie A already.
As for the CB leader, I’d still count this season on Miranda. He still has it, even though his age is wearing down a bit but I still believe in his ability. Maybe Miranda, Skriniar, Murillo, Fazio could be our CBs for next season then! And yes Nainnggolan or Vidal out of these could be the most difficult. But lets hope that Roma are looking for making even more profit by selling pretty much their whole squad.
For the wingers even Keita Balde would be a great addition. He could also be a vice-Icardi! His contract is expiring next year also, but he seems to be focused on joining Juventus…
Cheers mate!
Let’s what our management comes up with. Knowing Urbano Cairo he would probably value Barreca something like 40mil if Inter asked for the guy 😛 Then the boy would be another overvalued young Italian lol. Keita Balde would be kind of a winger/forward our attack needs. He wouldn’t also have huge wages and probably commands a lower transfer fee.
I love vidal, no one is more complete in than him in midfield , and he is so smart, much smarter than nain
Slow news day for GdS it seems, same old recycled names.
