Inter Technical Coordinator Walter Sabatini has fallen in love with Luan and the idea of bringing him to Inter. Tuttosport detail that a deal for the Gremio forward, who has a year left on his current contract, could cost Inter as much as €25 million. Sabatini has also watched him in the flesh, taking in Gremio’s Copa Libertadores clash with Deportes Iquique in which the 2016 Olympic Gold medallist found the net twice.
Intermediary, Kia Joorabchian could play a part in a yet another deal for the Nerazzurri the Turin paper further report. Joorabchian, who is Suning’s market advisor, played a part in landing both Gabriel Barbosa and Joao Mario at the San Siro last year.
The 24 year old’s agent Jair Peixoto will handle contract negotiations with Inter if a move is to materialise. Luan also holds a non-EU passport. Inter are not the only club currently courting Luan with Liverpool, Tottenham and Stoke all also keeping tabs on him.
