Inter’s Sporting Director Piero Ausilio spoke today at a seminar for trainee journalists. Ausilio confirmed: “Milan Skriniar’s transfer will be officially announced today.”
A deal was struck last week between Inter and Sampdoria and the Nerazzurri are expected to pay around €20 million for the Slovakian central defender.

may the force be with you! damn, and here we are mostly doomed to bloom a young defender. and may the curse be lost forever!
some idiots like branca said we have to give them 35m for him lol
We did pay 35M. 20M + Caprari valued at 15M.
no wtf, we got 15 from them and it counted toward our goal to beat ffp, now we are paying them 20m
That’s quite different from how I read it. Are you sure we got 15M for Caprari and only paying 20M for Skriniar? That’s basically 5M swap of two players.
And that doesn’t explain how Caprari is “part of the Skriniar operation,” as that’s just two different, distinct transfers.
I tell you what !, you are not the first person I’m arguing with over the price we paid for this defender, to make a long story short we kinda cheated in a way to make sampdoria to announce caprari for 15m which all of us know damn well inter doesn’t have negotiation skills to really sell caprari for 15m, so they agreed to announce it this way to help us with the ffp, so we got around it, in return we agreed to buy this I say wack defender because he is not inter material for a high price, now even thought no one will ever know how much it did really cost us its between them clubs, I don think we paid 35m for this guy it just doesn’t add up, 20m kind of makes a little sense still too much though in my opinion
Well I agree Skriniar for 20M is already too high. I’m just basing it on what I read – it’s Inter paying some amount of money + Caprari, and Caprari’s transfer is valued at 15M.
With the original article claiming 20M cash, the whole deal won’t be lower than 20M no matter how low you value Caprari…either way, the value of Caprari (15M or otherwise) is in Samps hands, not Inter’s.
no we already got paid 15m, we had to show it to the ffp we made 34.5m total, u cant just tell them oh we made this much we have to show them on documents
banega 9m
caprari 15m
dimarco 3.5m
miang 3m
and a few youngsters
Sure we can. We just tell them we sold Caprari for 15M and bought Skriniar for 35M, which is essentially the same thing as 20M + Caprari, but stated in a different way. At the same time this would help us with the FFP requirement.
Otherwise, this deal would have been a 5M + Caprari = Skriniar swap and I don’t buy that’s what this was.
they don’t care how much we paid for skriniar, they just want us to make a profit of 30m by july 1st which we did, paying 35m for that youngster that’s not even good and its a Slovak ranochia makes even less sense
No one said this deal made sense. This is an accounting trick to allow us to collect 30M by July 1st as you said, and Sampdoria cooperated with us by valuing Caprari at 15M.
We still “paid” 35M to Sampdoria based on the valuation of Caprari plus 20M cash.
I just don’t buy this , all the sudden 35 fir this new ranochia , impossible, could of got acerbi for 10m
35M sounds high because Caprari is also valued high (15M). This is the beauty of this accounting trick – we can value Caprari however we want, and the higher the better for us for FFP.
If you assume Caprari was free, then suddenly this is a 20M + free transfer deal for Skriniar. Still high, but sounds a bit better 🙂
Guys samp valued caprari 15 M to help Inter with ffp! However his real price is 10 M but they paid 15 to help us! In return we will pay them now 32 M which is 17 M for skriniar and 15 M for caprari which they already gave us! in fact the deal cost us 27 M = 17 M cash + Caprari 10 M but they made it 15 M for ffp
not care! give us those big signings!!!
yes he probably gonna suck
Welcome….. Hope the best for you and us…
