Cagliari’s sporting director Giovanni Rossi has said that Marco Andreolli is the right type of player that Cagliari are looking for in an interview with La Nuova Sardegna.
“We are looking for an experienced Italian, or a foreigner who has already played in Serie A: Andreolli is the right one,” Rossi said.
The 51-year-old also cracked a little joke about former Inter player Antonio Cassano’s interest in the club.
“He’s a champion, but up front we are already in place.”
