Telles: “At Inter, I learnt that defending is the most important thing to do”

Former Inter full back Alex Telles spoke to Lance! on his past three years as a player which has seen him play for Galatasaray, Inter and most recently Porto: “The Turkish and Italian clubs are different. In Italy there is great care about tactics, but also in Turkey. When I arrived in Istanbul, Roberto Mancini had given me a big hand: I learned a lot from the defensive point of view. In Brazil, my prerogative was to attack and get assists. At Inter, I had to learn that the most important thing is to defend.”
