Dario Canovi once again hints at a Patrick Schick Inter move. The Sampdoria jewel is at the center of a real case after failing his medical with Juventus. Speaking with Rete Sport, the agent commented on the story hinting that if the deal doesn’t go through with Juventus and Sampdoria, he’ll end up wearing a Nerazzurri shirt:
“Inter interested? I hope Sabatini remembers who had suggested Schick to him. I was not part of the deal with Sampdoria because I had an agreement with Roma I didn’t wish to abandon.”

It’s official, RuBe has cancelled Schick’s transfer. Guess Sabatini should get moving if we want to sign him!
I would welcome him, we have players who have heart problems before.

I don’t trust our medical team to try to sign him. Remember these guys cleared Santon, whom has failed other teams’ medicals. They also never flagged Gnoukori’s heart problems later picked up by Udinese’s medical team.
Schick might be a good player, but has cardiac problems flagged by Rube’s BETTER medical staff.
to be fair..those things were found by others because our medics don’t run the same tests on players throughout the season as they do when you sign to a new team. but i agree i wouldn’t go for Schick knowing that he failed a medical exam.
I know for a fact that that Madrid does medical tests right when players show up into the training camp for the start of new season. I’m sure some sort of tests will be done when players are upgraded from youth sect to the main squad. Gnou’s problem should had been picked up there.
Santon’s knee issues should had been flagged when we signed him from Newcastle.
unless those problems happened after those tests. i know this is not the same but my younger brother runs track for our local college and was cleared to run, then half way through the season had to take a break because after a doctor visit the doctor found an irregular heart murmur that needed further testing. my point is you never know. Ricky Alvarez was cleared by Sunderland then boom…
Santon has played through the years with the problem. Schick was playing and doing well I think he will continue to.
