By the way, not sure if this is related in any way to Candreva, but according to La Gazzetta today Inter is back at work to get Berardi.
He would be perfect as a midfield winger ,just ahead of the 3 defense, the way both Conte and Prandelli used him in Italy and the role for which Conte wants to use him now for Chelsea.
He was always one of the best for Italy in that role.
3 defense, 3-5-2 , 3-4-3 like Chelsea or 3-4-1-2 ..whatever ,3 defense.
He is not a striker ,he is not a forward-winger like Perisic.
But Candreva is an xcellent “midfielder of the right wing ” .
And, in any case, starting XI for Inter or not ,people going into his social media to offend him personally or to rudely tell him to go to Chelsea are just plain gross and sad individuals

As a RW, last season he scored 8 goals and more assists in 45 games. Not bad but he can do better. I think your words are rather harsh. Even if you don’t like him or what not, with his contributions, he deserved some respect.
I agree. Criticizing Candreva is really unwarranted here, he was one of our best players on the pitch, certainly the best RW we had last season. I still remember the beauty he scored on Donnarumma.
While I don’t disagree with you completely, he was too inconsistent last season. You’re gonna get some assists crossing the ball 50 times a game, the problem is he blindly crosses almost every ball. It’s ridiculous. Feels like he has no ability to cut inside and dribble past a defender to make a play. He’s a one-dimensional player (cross cross cross cross…cross and nothing but cross) and we need someone who adapts to a situation and makes plays accordingly. There is no denying his shooting ability, it’s his game play I question.
