Matias Vecino was not present at Fiorentina’s final retreat in Moena.
This is an additional indication that the Uruguayan midfielder is getting closer to a transfer to Inter, with the Nerazzurri seemingly willing to pay the € 24m asking price of la Viola.
According to reports from Premium Sport, the player could be present at Inter’s headquarters for a medical by tomorrow.

Hard to think of Vecino as a 24m player.
Anytime I watched him he looked like “any midfielder ever”.
Hard to distinguish him from so many other decent professionals in Serie A.
But..what do I care about the exact $ for a player at this point?
I want a solid club and a solid team, and I hope we are slowly getting there, somehow.

Nothing to do with gargano, did you ever watch vecino play? Vecino can shoot and is useful in attack too, gargano was only good defensively.
Yes, better than Gargano, that much I agree, not quite an outstanding player either…but a house is not built by architects only,it takes laymen too…so vecino would be that layman of the midfield…a little expensive layman but at this point…as long as we build a stronger team and a more solid , stable club step by step.
If we pay 24 millions for that guy I will have to buy some strong alcohol to kill the depression……

IMO average at fiorentina doesn’t mean the same average at inter. It can be superb, hopefully. It’s the coach’s job to make the best out of the player, it is Spalletti who requested for Vecino and others we’ve just purchased. He chooses players suitable for his tactical formation. Let’s see.

Besides Fiorentinas midfield has never been very bad. Maybe Valero and Vecino can find a nice rythm real quick?
