Speaking to Indonesian Metro TV today, Inter president Erick Thohir answered few questions about Inter and the transfer market:
“The numbers attached with Suning was the primary reason why I selected them. When they arrived, many had questions regarding their credibility but now I think their queries are answered. We have such a big fan base now in China.”
“I get to hear a lot why we aren’t spending. But the fact is we are spending from 2013. I have said repeatedly that our situation is different from that of Milan’s. We need few players and I believe we will have the quality to compete in UCL.”

the hate is too much… but he actually managed to get Suning group to buy inter! dont complain too fast… they are following some stricts FFP guidelines.. you will see that Suning will come through and show their financial muscle.. even without big big signings this season, inter looks more solid, and the buys have been good considering how well Skriniar has been playing. and Valero has given us a much needed dictator of tempo in the middle of the pitch . with the right coach in spalletti this season will be much better.. dalbert looks like is gonna finalize soon and he is what we have been lacking in the full back position.

We do need a few players. That’s true. What we need though are Veratti, Ric Rodriguez, Berardi and De Vrij not Vecino, Dalbert, Karamoh and Christensen. On top of all that we are getting rid of Banega, trying to get rid of Jovetić and Joao Mario, still finding loan suitors for Gabigol and all that while Nagatomo, Candreva and company are all safe in the squad. It looks to me like we are trying to ditch quality and are striving for average.
