The former club of Inter attacker Stefan Jovetic, Fiorentina are pushing hard for Jovetic. As understood by CalcioMercato, the deal may go through at the end of the month. The Italian club is expected to push harder for the player after Inter failed to find a deal with Sevilla.

I would rather keep Jovetic, João Mario, Brozovic and Ranochia (Brozovic because we can’t sell him for more than 13 million and Ranocchia ONLY if we must sell Murillo, because we will need 4 CB in case someone gets a lengthy injury). But definitely buy a CB (Kimpembe or Christeansen, idealy De Vrij for 25 million), Keita Balde Diao for the right wing, keep Candreva if possible, if not loan Emre Mor. Buy a RB (Darnian, Airier or João Cancelo).
So my preferred formation for 2017/18 season will be 4-3-3:
Handanovic/Padelli
João Cancelo/D’ambrossio Miranda/Ranocchia De Vrij/Skriniar Dalbert/Ansaldi
João Mario/Brozovic Borja Valero Gagliardini/Vecino
Keita Balde/Candreva Icardi/Elder/Pinamonti Perisic/Jovetic
For the funds for this players:
Swap Kondogbia for João Cancelo,
Sell Murillo if must for 15 mil., Medel for 5 mil., Santon for 4-5 mil. and Nagatomo for 1-2 mil., (25 in total) for De Vrij,
Buy Keita for 30 mil. Sunning must give us a gift from them.
If there is a FFP problem with the 30 mil. for Keita, and Candreva wants out, then sell Candreva to Chelsea and fund Keita or get Christeansen plus cash if must. Then get Keita Balde from Lazio, and as a CB we will have Christiansen insead of De Vrij. And as a rotational option for the right wing, a deputy for Keita Balde Diao, get Emre Mor from Borussia Dortmund on loan.
Forza Inter!!!
I would give him the chance under the new coach. Then if he is unhappy with the potential lack of time on the field, we can sell him later. If we let him go now, please try to lure F. Chiesa the other way!
really? can they pay his salary?
Nope
I don’t see Spaletti would want him in the team.
I would tho, but the coach decide all, technically at least
Why would they try to get rid of him now is beyond me. Nobody on the team has the flair to create something out of nothing except him and Gabigol who was freezed all last season anyway. Inter has no respect for technical players and it’s driving me insane because those are always the best players to have, those who win you games. Even in 2010 our sole technical player was Sneijder and without him there would be no Champions League victory despite the perfect defensive machine of a squad that we had.
He wants to leave and play constantly – confirmed by Spalletti, and at Inter he’ll only be back up to Icardi. He’s not a winger, he’s a striker or a second striker and we are playing with one man on top the rest are midfielders who are excepted to track back as well – something he doesn’t do!
So we need the money (14mil plus the savings on his high salaries) to spend on some strong defenders in stead.
According to this there is no way we get Vidal and Perisic & Candreva will stay.

Ausilio has a history of saying things in interviews that usually never happen.
Pretty sure he’ll be with us this season. His creativity was definitely visible in the pre-season games. I think Spalletti can make him work as an AMF behind Mauro with Perisic on left and Keita/Berardi on right being backed up by Vidal and Valero.
Wish it was that simple, but the fact is, Jovetic’s decision making is really bad, he almost always goes for the flashy move and tricks to get the ball moving, when a much much simpler way is more effective..He makes a fuss out of a simple move to score or create.. which make him a bad playmaker!!Keeping things simple and effective are key for any good playmaker..Jovetic unfortunately sucks at that..
Yes, he is not a proper number 10 but he is a wonderful false 9. My opinion is that if he played instead of Icardi he would score significantly less goals but we would become far more fluid going forward. He could unleash the wingers and Perišić and Candreva would become far more direct and dangerous for goal whereas now their sole purpose is staying wide and funneling crosses in until Icardi connects.
You may well be right about this, but you need to take into consideration that Perisic and Candreva have had supplying Icardi as their sole purpose due to the tactics of the coaches of Inter last season, mainly Pioli. Now under Spalletti, things should be different, and better than having two wingers solely supplying the center forward, that is Icardi, and Icardi himself will benefit from this as he will be able to improve his weaker side of his game and become more of a complete forward, especially when he showed he could be a team player by having more than 10 assists last season.
Jovetic has the flair, true that, but for me, Icardi’s better.
