If this is true about the wage then good. We can bump his salary when he shows that he is first team material and plays well. It also indicates good about the player, that he has confidence in himself that he can play so well that he gets a raise!
i’ve never heard about a player that cost 20M and earn 700K. maybe its a good thing, agreed to get a low salary in a way that inter could raise their offer on him. maybe it will make him to give it all and be worthy of a higher salary. not like nagatomo for example who gets 3M if im not mistaken and only do worst.
