Sorry about that silly mistake.
We’re very sorry. We’ll make sure it doesnt happen again. Rather silly mistake from our end
Nima, Anderson here bro. I love this site. Lots of times we poke fun at the articles but we’re all still here. Most of us don’t know what you’ve gone through to build this site. I for one appreciate it as this is my go to place for Inter related news in English. Keep up the good work. Forza Sempreinter and Forza Inter.
I’d really like to see him playing in serie a.
with this level of (un)professionalism, i wouldn’t be surprised if enjoyinternews steals your audience. they are doing it now.
Am I the only one with sempreinter, fedenerazzura, enjoyinternews and newnow inter constantly open in tabs on my phone lol
No I dont think you are.
And that’s great for Inter fans.
How amazing isnt that? 3 sites. When we started 5 years ago there was none. When I was a kid there was nothing for an Inter fan.
Forza Inter!
I found Inter in 1989. I was 14…do you know how hard it was as a kid in the states to find ANY futbol news, let alone serie a? I think it was a week before I found out they signed Klinsmann. also, I had to read about R9 in my local Italian-American newspaper, 2 or 3 days after the fact. And over here we really had no idea beforehand what Massimo was upto. So that was a nice surprise. Not like today when clubs announce to the world that they are pursuing players under contract with other teams. Isn’t that called tampering in the (sports) business world?
That’s exactly why SempreInter was created. I was 8 years old in 1989 when Matthäus, Brehme, Ferri & co won the scudetto dei record. My first match I saw was at my aunts house. Her husband is German and had a satelite dish, he managed to set in German tv who were broadcasting the match vs Napoli, the match that won the Scudetto against Maradonna’s Napoli who were reigning champions.
When Lothar scored the winning goal I started screaming with happiness because without realizing it I’d become an Interista during that match. The packed San Siro, the atmosphere, Walter Zenga’s kick ass passion, Bergomi’s correctness, Lothar’s majestic control of the match via dominating the midfield thtat only Maradonna had done earlier, Brehme’s celebration, Ferri’s joy and relaxed behavior all of it tied up together by the amazing Trappattoni on the sidelines.
After that I was hooked and without he internet I preyed on day old Gazzettas. Didnt understand a word of it and daydreamed of a day where I could speak italian and read the gazzetta and watch Inter play.
Little did I know I would be able to do all of this and so much more by providing what I didnt have as a kid to others who today were in my shoes then. An Iranian born 8 year old who loved Inter in sweden, a country where Wolverhampton and WBA have more fans than all of the italian teams put together. If anyone liked Italian football it was Milan or Juve but seldom if ever & very rarely it was Inter. My 5 years older friend Ashkan was an Inter fan, and he had a friend his age too who I think he made an Interfan. We supported West Germany because of the 3 germans and celebrated the derby win at the san siro in Italia ’90 against the Dutch trio from Berlusconi’s glamorous Milan who were European Cup champions and Arrigo Sacchi was considered the greatest thing since bread came sliced. If anyone would have told that 9 year old that would one day get to interview Riccardo Ferri about the difference between Sacchi and Trapp, who he thought was better, etc, well that person would have been mocked as an insane person.
Italy was sooo far away to me. Like a different planet. Especially compared to Sweden.
Well, all of this is why I do what I do and why Im so passionate and proud yet hungry and humble of what can come ahead. Thanks to every writer visitor lover hater Ive been able to fulfill what I dreamed of doing: connecting Inter fans worldwide to appease the 8 year old who watched teletex for 90 mins to see if Inter had scored, to create a platform where Interisti never feel lonely and get the latet news as it happens, exclusive interviews and op-eds, tactical analyses, everything that the 8 year old didnt have.
It’s been a bumpy ride, hard work, and a lot of sweat tears and blood literally and figuratively, but most of all its been so damn fun. To see a name and an idea I created in my bedroom 5 years ago become what it has as we prepare to take the next step is really a dream come true. So again thank you to everyone involved. From the people who hate me, love me, troll me, and doubted me to those who believed in the vision I had, through designing logo’s, writing, reading, sharing, commenting, suggesting and emailing us with feedback re when the site wasnt working for them to criticizing a mistake such as Bona/Cerri.
Thanks for sharing this ride with us, and making an 8 year old dreams come true. Because the best part is this is only the first chapter, thanks for joining us as we’re embarking on the second chapter. Hope you like it as much as youve liked the first chapter and maybe dare I say even more.
Forza e solo Sempre Inter!
//Nima
I, for one, appreciate all of the hard work. Gratze. And congratulations on doing something you’re passionate about.
Beautiful
Nima is a dickhead who can not accept critics.Block lot of people on twitter cause of this, cause we all say that quality of his site and podcast is absymal in last year or so.So Nima, eat what you cooked or something like that,my English is awful but your ego is worse.
Thanks.
I wonder why I would block someone for calling me a dickhead…
Im sorry you dont like the site and the podcast.
If you explain in a civilized manner what your problem is we can talk about it. But if you want to call names and insult then you can go to other sites. We dont want that on Sempreinter.com.
Hi,
I dont quite understand what youre referring too with regards to unprofessionalism.
As to Enjoy and other sites our policy is this: The more the merrier. As long as no-one copy pastes someone elses work and passes it off as his own (which is what enjoy did with us Calciomercato, Di Marzio etc). We care only and focus only on SempreInter and we are very interested in hearing feedback so we can improve. So please explain what we have done to annoy you and we can take it from there.
Thanks
hi nima,
i’m in the process of writing the answer to your questions. it is quite long so bear with me lol. i will finish it when i got free time later and post it here. (i could also email it to you if you’d prefer that)
see you!
Please Do: [email protected]
it is sent 🙂
Sorry that you feel that way. Our analysis of traffic & analytics point to complete other direction. Having said that we’re humble enough to take in criticism in order to improve. There’s a reason why you’re commenting here, voicing your discontent, that’s cause you’re expecting the best from us and when we don’t deliver then you’re frustrated and disappointed. We take this as a compliment, we want our readers to have high demands on us and expect nothing but the best from us.
So thanks for the kick up the backside and the high expectations, we’ll make sure to not repeat this ever again.
All I can say is it’s a bit chaotic at casa SempreInter, as we’re preparing to launch our new homepage + many other new features we think you guys will love.
So we’re sorry but hope you’ll bare with us until launch which is scheduled within 11 days.
Thanks
Nice one, chief.
That’s alberto cerri, not bonazzoli
Is bonazzoli having a plastic surgery or what? Lol
