this loan deal will officially solidify the name “GABI-ONE-GOL” because that one goal you seen him score for Inter will probably be the last goal that he ever scores for Inter. Reminds me of the stories I heard of Vampeta – high expectations – lasted one year or so and was gone never to be seen again. Would be a good move for him. He speaks the language and the Portuguese league has been a stepping stone for many great players before joining one of europes top teams. Who knows, a couple of years as a regular there and he could live up his potential and make it to a big club.
He is definitely not joining a relatively big club like Sporting on loan without there being an option for them to buy him permanently though. We will only see him back at Inter if he flops, so i suppose we should be hoping to never see him again.
Nah inter wouldnt give that option, it makes no sense. We could easily sell him right now if we wanted to get rid of him. We’ll def get more money that way than sending him out on loan with option to buy. Its almost guaranteed he’s coming back since he’s going out on loan.

I was suggesting going to portugal because they speak his language there and there are quite competetive clubs which play in european competition… sporting is know for developing players.

Good move, would rather see him in one of Sporting/Benfica/Porto than a club like Cagliari. More freedom for him to prove his worth, and with the way players are overpriced in these three teams, we can hope that we sign a 60mil player for free next season..
