Inter are currently working on the final details of a renewal for Geoffrey Kondogbia through to 2021 Gianluca Di Marzio reports. The players agent, his brother Evans will soon be in Spain, to complete his brother’s transfer to Valencia on a season long loan. Before the deal, which also involves Joao Cancelo, goes ahead Valencia wish to find a replacement for the Portuguese player – whose agent is in Milan to speak with Inter – before giving the green light to the deal.

We have spent 30-40mil on him we should make some money on him. Unlike Rano he has some talent, and I hope he can show his value in La Liga so we could make some money…
The risk is, if he doesn’t deliver there, we’ll be stuck with his dumbass for even longer and having to pay him this absurd salary. Sometimes it’s better to cut your losses and sell him for 15-20M.
Rano was talented too and hailed by everyone in Italy but just like Kondo he doesn’t have what it takes mentally to perform at the high level regularly.
At least if he gets a renewal I hope its not more than 1 year.
The problem with Rano is zero self worth. So he rejects offers. Kondo at least wants to play, so we wouldn’t have those problems
