Luciano Spalletti and Stefano Pioli have decided to field the following 22 players in tonights opening fixture of the 2017/2018 Serie A season at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district.
Spalletti has chosen to field Borja Valeri and Matias Vecino together with Marcelo Brozovic in midfield whilst opting to go with Yuto Nagatomo instead of Dalbert in the left of defence. The complete line-up:

Hmm, Brozović over Joao Mario, interesting. Dalbert not playing is understandable, has yet to adapt to the team and league. Vecino with his first start already, let’s see if he can justify knocking out Gagliardini. Overall, some interesting decisions, I was expecting Joao Mario and Gagliardini to be starting. Can’t wait for Serie A to begin for us as well!! I would really like a positive start, especially since Roma, Napoli and Juve all opened their seasons with a win. Forza Inter!

Dalbert not used to team mates of tactics. Naga offers safety over him. If we’re winning (as we are), introducing Dalbert becomes much easier. If we were losing, Dalbert would come in knowing a crap performance wouldn’t change the game.
