I’ve read that Sampdoria won’t sell unless they find a replacement which is unlikely. If we want to have a chance at this deal we should toss them Eder back. As reliable as he is we already have a solid number of attackers and I’d rather make use of him now and secure a talented player instead of waiting for a year or two and watch him degrade into last year’s Palacio.. Lets face it, we play only Serie A and Icardi will start 90% of matches anyway. Eder won’t be put into good use. This would be the best for Inter, Eder and Sampdoria.
And what will happen if Perisic or Icardi get injured and have to stay out for a long time? Who do you suggest would cover for them?
