mustafi

Time is running out for Inter to address their lack of depth at centre back and their lack of funds is not ideal for their aspirations either. Gazzetta dello Sport report that Inter have made a loan offer for Arsenal’s Shkodran Mustafi which involves a €2 million down payment and a right to redemption. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger however is unsure about letting the German depart the Emirates Stadium, despite the fact that Mustafi has just one appearance to his name this season.

Moreover, Inter mercato duo Walter Sabatini and Piero Ausilio have more than just Mustafi in mind. Manchester City’s Eliaquim Mangala remains an idea for the Nerazzurri defence but it looks like he may be involved in a deal that would see West Bromwich Albion’s Jonny Evans go the other way. Liverpool’s Mamadou Sakho is the third target that the Nerazzurri have in mind for central defence.
