With the mercato nearing it’s close, Inter have stepped up in their pursuit for Yann Karamoh Corriere dello Sport underline. Yesterday, Inter were in contact with the players club Caen, who reiterated that they want no less than €8 million for the 19 year old Frenchman. Inter’s latest offer is €6 million and they have also included bonuses in the offer. Today, there will be further talks over the French youth international who has under a year left on his contract.

Tottenham Hotspurs’ Moussa Sissoko is the alternative. Sissoko’s football experience would bring something Karamoh could not bring but a deal for the midfielder is not only costly but complicated. Spurs wish to either sell the 28 year old outright or loan him out with a redemption obligation. Sissoko joined the North London club for €35 million last summer from Newcastle United but has been unable to perform as expected.
